Secure the network

Computers that are connected to the Internet need to be protected. New vulnerabilities are being exposed almost daily.  How you secure your network is very important. Typical practice is to setup a barrier aka. firewall around your network that protects all computers on the network from all the bad guys out there on the Internet. This barrier is called a firewall, there are two kinds of firewalls, software and hardware. I like hardware firewalls, better protection, malicious software can’t disable them.  The firewall functions like a one-way value, only allowing things to pass through in one direction, from the inside going out.
